About Njangy

Infrastructure for
the way the world actually saves.

Most of the world's money doesn't move through banks or apps. It moves through circles of trust that have worked for centuries. Njangy is the company building the infrastructure those circles deserve.

Why Njangy exists

The savings tradition raised the world. Fintech forgot it.

In 26+ countries, under as many local names, people have always solved the same problem the same way: pool money with people you trust, take turns receiving the pot, lift each other through life's shifts. Hundreds of millions of people. Trillions of dollars in rotating savings. And almost none of it on a phone.

Modern fintech was built for one-to-one transactions, a card, a transfer, a loan to a single person. It was not built for communities. The products that do serve community finance are regional, fragile, or optimized for the platform instead of the circle.

Njangy was started to fix that. Not to replace the tradition, not to digitize it into something unrecognizable, not to wrap a marketing layer around an existing bank account. To build the genuine infrastructure, the accounting, the rotation, the transparency, the payment rails, the security standards, that the circle has always deserved, and to make it work anywhere in the world.

What we believe

Community finance isn't an emerging category.

It's the original one. It predates every financial institution that has outlived a century, and it will outlive most of the ones built this century. Our job is to make sure it's accessible, trustworthy, and built to last, for the communities who never stopped practicing it.

Our principles

Commitments that show up in the product.

01

The circle comes first.

Every product decision answers one question before any other: does this serve the members in the circle? If it optimizes the platform at the circle's expense, it doesn't ship.

02

Custom, not conversion.

We digitize the tradition; we don't flatten it. Your house runs the way your community already runs one, your frequency, your members, your rules, your local name for it. Njangy fits the custom. The custom doesn't fit Njangy.

03

Trust is infrastructure.

Identity verification, tamper-evident accounting, row-level data isolation, bank-grade encryption, trusted payment rails. The circle has always run on trust, our job is to reinforce it with the standards a regulated platform is held to.

04

Transparent at every layer.

Every contribution, every rotation, every swap, every commission, every penalty, visible to the people it concerns, and to no one else. We make no money off information asymmetry.
